What can i plant in my garden to deter rabbits ?

I live in a very rural area and have wild rabbits invading the garden, i have heard some plants deter them, but cannot remember the names.

What can i plant in my garden to deter rabbits ?
Hi Turbo, Check out this site for a list of Rabbit resistant plants: http://www.gcnursery.co.uk/rabbits.html Cheers Pendelli
Reply:I've read that marigolds will deter them. I am trying that myself this year.
Reply:You did not say where you live. The best I could do is catch the hosenthenffur and enjoy. .. Go to Lowes or Home depot they have people to seee you plants.
Reply:A great big dog. Mind you, i did hear that lions poo has been used in gutters to stop birds nesting on roofs.
Reply:Try marigolds, they 'stink'.

I would skip trying plants and use mesh wire. Nothing huge, just some wooden poles to nail it to and form a perimeter around the garden.

Try also some CDs. Really! Put one pole on either side of the garden, run a string from top to top. Then hang down some strings with CDs attached...the revolving movement and the mirrored glare scares off many animals.

They are free (the cds) at Target and Walmart...those "Try Aol Free!" disks!!

Reply:a fence
Reply:Marigolds, or go to a beauty salon and get some human hair, yes human hair it works
Reply:cannibus plants wont deter them but they will eat them instead. check the legality for your area to use them first as growing in most states is illegal.
Reply:Plant nothing! Just dig it up.
Reply:A good picture of a fox or predatory animal..
Reply:plant yourself on a garden chair with a shotgun across your lap and wait for the fun to start
