Does anyone know if raw eggs mixed with water and sprayed on garden will repel deer?

Overheard older lady telling cashier at grocery store why she was buying 12 doz. eggs. She declared that raw eggs will keep deer out of garden. I tried it last year and saw no deer. However, my neighbors had horses and electric fence bordering my garden. Will try again. There is no electric fence this year.

Rotten eggs will definitely deter the deer. They are the basis for many of the deer repellent sprays. If you boil the eggs and leave them around, under shrubs and such, you won't lose them to birds like with raw eggs.
Reply:I heard if you gather dog hair from a local groomer and put it in onion sack around the garden would work, dear don't like dogs and smell is everything in the animal world.
Reply:I read this in some manual and gave it half an effort. I never could get it to spray 'cause it's a rather thick mixture. You might have better luck. Good luck with your garden.
Reply:good luck i think the old lady is on to something here.
Reply:never heard of that.
