What are some good/reputable companies to buy veggie/garden seeds from?
these are both great resources for good heirlooms and other unusual varieties.

Reply:Bluestone Perennial or Park Seeds both have catalogs you can order online.
Reply:I use Henry Field and Guerney's a lot. Both have web sites. And both are currently offering a half-price deal for early orders.
Reply:For the last 7 years we have used Tomato Growers as a source for our veggie seeds. Every year, we sell out of all our veggies, so they must be reliable and yield a good product. They have many many varieties to choose from also. They carry a nice selection of Peppers and Eggplant too. Last year we purchased Largo Purple and Medusa. They are ornamental peppers and they were both a big hit! Black beauty is a great Eggplant. We always sell out of it also.

Reply:Henry Field's has a very good selection of seeds and starts.
I understand Mountain Rose is good too.
Reply:go to the grocery store and buy a piece of fruit or veggie you like. then go home and take the seeds out and then cook the veggie. If you like the veggie then dry out the seeds and then plant those. It is kind of like a preview
Reply:I agree with the other posters--Wal-Mart has good veggie seeds. You can check out Burpee's online, or Ferry-Morse, Gurneys.
Reply:Burpee seed company,I have used them for years, top quality seeds and plants.
