How do I get rid of crab grass and weeds in my vegetable garden without killing my plants?

It's just ridiculous how much crab grass is sprouting up in my veggie garden, and there is no way I can pull it all out by hand. What is safe to use on it but will not harm my vegetable plants?

try shielding the plants that you dont want damaged and spray the unwanted grass with plain old vinegar you may have to do this a few times. I do this in the walk space between rows and plants then hand pull after rain or good watering the grass that is close to the plants itself. a few days after you can lay down plain black and white news paper between the rows as well (color has chemicals you dont want in your garden) a great book with simple remedies to check out is Backyard Problem Solver by Jerry Baker (and he has a lot of good books w great info out there, most of them things you already have)

hope this helps you and that your garden is plentiful this year!!
Reply:Try a hoe.
