How can i stop my neighbours dog getting into my garden?

I can not afford a high fence, i bought a wheelie bin to store my rubbish, after he was ripping my bags, but now he tips over the bin to gain access. I had a word with the local dog warden, but they seem to be very slow-moving.

I havent got any idea what kind of dog this is, its a large dog, who soils on my garden and is constantly weeing all over my things. I try scare him off, but he growls at me. Im fed up. Hes in my garden every day, and the owners are really rude and have an attitude problem.

All i want is to be able to go in my garden without avoided the neighbours dog. My kids cant play in their own garden. Its really gone a major problem.

How can i stop my neighbours dog getting into my garden?
You can get Cat %26amp; Dog repellent in most supermarkets.
Reply:use (your kids') watergun and fuel it up with lemon-paprika water. (i learned this from my dad.) careful with the kids though, it could work on people too. t.c!
Reply:It isn't your duty to keep it out,it's the owner's to keep it in!!! Make loud noises in high places and keep on til something is done...There are laws in place to protect you...This situation is a disgrace...You could always get yourself a 177 and sting its backside !!!!
Reply:get one of those hign pressure water guns or even better a power washer, and everytime he comes in just give him a blast. dogs hate that. chuck the poop back over the fence or why not just chuck it at their things eg car, windows, through the letter box.

send a solicitors letter
Reply:is he going to the bath in your yard??

some ppl put the poop on their stoop when theyre not home and then they get the message!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:U could always leave some food out for it laced with laxative. It has to go indoors at some point. I'm sure its owners will be very happy. May not cure the problem but amusing all the same. There is also environment health dept. who can give you some advice due to the fouling of your garden.
Reply:Speak to your neighbour. If they are nasty about it i'd kill the dog. Put rat poison or something onto something in your rubbish in the bin that the dog will eat. Hopefully it gobbles it down and bye bye pooch. If your neighbours get the police involved you can say well it was in my bin and i dont expect peoples dogs to go raking through it.
Reply:make a boundary of red chile.
Reply:go talk 2 yr neighbours
Reply:a fairly cheep way would be an electrick fence like the farmers use i got a shock of one once and thay dont half give you a belt
Reply:your neighbour is legally responsible for keeping his dog under control - so if he wont take any notice when you ask politely then take action against him.
