Any ideas how to keep squirles away from your garden?
try soap shavings it gets rid of deer it might squirrels. use a potato peeler on a bar of soap i would try irish spring which ever smells worst.
Reply:put fences around the garden... and get this machine that makes a high pitch noise (that humans can't hear but animals can) that keeps all the animals away (deer squirrels mice etc.)
Reply:I live in Michigan and there are millions of the pesky little varments ... they were eating and tearing up all my flowers and grass. If I owned a shotgun I would have made squirrel stew, but instead, I mixed ammonia and water together, about a 50/50 mixture and sprayed the soil around the flowers. They certainly didnt like me after that. Another thing they dont like is hot spices ... put some cyanne pepper down and they run like speedy gonzales.

After spraying the ammonia and water mix I did not have a problem with them. I repeat the spraying about once or twice a week ... or if I see them checking out my flowers.
Reply:fox urine. You can buy it at the feed store. Wear gloves and put some on cotton balls and hang in a bag around the yard. The squirrels smell it and run. It worked to keep the squirrels out of our attic.
