How can I prevent a fox from coming to my garden?

That fox comes at night and has his favourite spot at the end of the garden, where he destroys the grass. Is there anything I can spray or something. The fence does not seem to keep him away.

How can I prevent a fox from coming to my garden?
God forbid it damage the precious grass! Personally I would be quite happy to see a fox visiting my garden, it's natural wildlife.

Most people get cats and dogs pooping in the borders or problems with rats and pigeons, why worry about a fox? It's more interesting to watch than a patch of grass.
Reply:If you must keep him away, try using moth balls in the area; if you think they're noxious to US, think about what they must smell like to an animal whose sense of smell is hundreds of times better than ours! Personally, I find wild animals interesting; I have a coyote family near me, and I'm lucky enough to see them once in a while.
Reply:shoot the bastard BOOM
Reply:ammm triky q but u can call the animal control or bring ur AK47 LOL
Reply:I'm sure there are some type of spray repellants you could try, check at a garden supply store. Not sure if this works on fox, it works on deer.....get a supply of hair trimmings (from the salon or barber) and scatter them around the area you want the animal to avoid. The scent is a deterrant.
Reply:I have seen a question like this before. I think that they decided to use a spray that you can buy from the garden shop which can keep the foxes out of your garden.

Try asking around your DIY or garden shops.
Reply:yes by putting gates or calling animal control good luck though
Reply:This is one case where fox urine will work, it doesn't work on anything else. Why bother they don't stay around long. RScott
