I think Garden Burgers taste great and they're a good way to get vegetables into my veggie-deprived life. Plus they can be frozen so they won't rot if you forget about them.
I've made burritos with crumbled veggie burgers in them. Any other ideas?
I don't much like cooking and preparing meat, so I'd prefer vegetarian recipes, but non-vegetarian will work as well.
Does anyone have any good non-burger recipes using Garden Burgers?
I am a former chef and now a vegetarian and have done some of the same things as those suggested, just cook them a bit to firm them up and add flavour, then either break them up by hand or I just drop them in large chunks in my food processor and pulse them into a fine or coarse grind, I make veggie lasagna with spinach noodle, just add them into the sauce or sprinkle on the noodles, the burrito/taco idea is good even broken and mixed into cooked rice and used as a stuffing for cabbage/peppers or eggplant and cover them in sauce and soya cheese.
I also make a greek dish called moussaka a layered dish with potatos, eggplant and I make a sauce with soya milk, cheese and a egg to make the topping. It is a great way to use them in a different way and make a selection of special dishes for you and your family.

Hideous in its simplicity...
Reply:Grind it up, mix it with some potting soil, grow something tastier.
Reply:I've heard that you can do the burrito idea but with tacos, or how about encheladas, etc...
